Tayyibah Girls School Celebrates Exam Success

The chair of governors and headteacher welcomed the publication of the school performance tables.

Tayyibah Girls School, a Muslim faith school based in Stamford Hill, was ranked as the best performing school in the London Borough of Hackney. The school was also ranked within the top 50 schools nationally. 100% of students obtained 5A*-C including Maths and English. However the high average grade of the students resulted in the high performance of the school.

Mrs Quraishi, the headteacher stated, ‘that we must congratulate all these young girls on their successes and pay tribute to the hard work of all the Tayyibah staff, parents and carers. I wish them well for the future and hope they continue to represent the community in the wider society.’

Mr Abdul Satar Said, the chair of governors also expressed his congratulations and praise Allah, the Almighty God, for the schools continued success. He further stated that not only this year but previous success have been achieved despite tight financial budgets, as we ensure that the school continues to be affordable to the local community. He expressed that the school will continue to strive in producing outstanding students from the community that will carry on their positive contributions to the local community while representing the interests of the Muslim community both locally and nationally.

Tayyibah Girls, which is an independent Muslim girls school, has continued to produce excellent results over a sustained period of time. Pupil development and behaviour has been constantly praised by all stakeholders including Ofsted during their last inspection.
