Tawhid Boys School is an oversubscribed popular Independent 11-16 School based in Stoke Newington, Hackney. The School underwent OFSTED inspection in July 2022 and was deemed as a Good School Overall. Tawhid is a non-selective community-based school with a strong team of highly qualified dedicated staff and Management.

The school is seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and visionary member of staff for September 2024. The candidate must be enthusiastic and child-centred. The successful candidate will lead and have an opportunity to make significant contribution to the development of our Quran Studies Programme.

We are looking for someone who:
 Has the ability to encourage and inspire the students to love the Quran
 Should have a good command and understanding of Quran, its science and English language.
 Must be Hafiz Al-Qur’an and have qualification in Tajweed and preferably Qira’at
 Experience of reading and teaching Quran with Tajweed
 Experience of teaching young people in a classroom environment
 Good communication skills and Excellent interpersonal skill
 Demonstrates good classroom behaviour management skills
 Punctual and reliable
 Be an excellent practitioner with high expectations, build on strengths, initiate further improvement and continue to raise standards
Must be able to provide at least two references from current employer, local Mosque’s Imam or any independent member of the local community.
