The Association of Muslim Schools UK (AMS) is a membership association made up of Muslim schools from within the United Kingdom. Membership of the association includes independent and state funded schools. AMS is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, registered with Companies House (registered number 04929648).

This privacy notice is intended to cover contact information displayed on AMS’s website.

What we collect and what we use it for

The following types of data may have been provided and displayed on the AMS website:

  • Name of school
  • Postal address
  • Name of Head Teacher
  • School telephone number
  • School email address
  • School website

Sharing your data

We will not share this data with others, except where this is required with third party processors for the functionality of the AMS website (although the data will be publicly available on AMS’s website).

Lawful basis under GDPR and retention

AMS is relying on ‘legitimate interests’ to publish this data on AMS’s websites. We will keep your contact details (which is publicly available) on AMS’s website for as long as your school retains an association with AMS.
